A single beam of light falling onto a dark point
Architecture & spatial design

Buildings that gather light.

Sirius Design is an architecture studio. We shape homes, workplaces and public rooms around the one material every building shares: light.

The studio

The horizon is our first drawing.

Before plans or models, we study where the light comes from: the path of the sun across a site, the angle of the horizon, the hour a room will be used most.

From that, we design buildings that feel calm and inevitable. Spaces that are bright where you need them, and quiet where you don't.

    Approach

    Every line is a decision.

We work in four stages. Each one ends with a drawing you can hold, so you always know what is decided and what is still open.

    1. 01

      Site & light study

Sun paths, views, wind and neighbours. We map what the site already gives before adding anything.

    2. 02

      Concept

Two or three clear directions in sketches and massing models, each with an honest cost range.

    3. 03

      Design development

Plans, sections, materials and light, coordinated with structure and services engineers.

    4. 04

      Delivery

Construction drawings, tender and site visits until the last fitting is in place.
